What support does Parallels Secure Workspace provide?
All licenses include at least 1 year of maintenance and support. You have the
option of opening support tickets directly with Parallels Secure Workspace via a web portal
– unfortunately not currently in German. You are therefore welcome to contact us at
to arrange support for Parallels Secure Workspace instead. Our technicians are very familiar with
the various scenarios in which Parallels Secure Workspace is used and
are available for you by e-mail, telephone and in German. Should communication with the manufacturer
become necessary, we will take care of this for you.
Can I deploy legacy applications or custom software remotely with Parallels Secure Workspace?
Yes, you can use Parallels Secure Workspace as a reverse proxy and make your applications
easily web-enabled. Your employees can then access them securely from anywhere.
Can I replace my VPN or Citrix solution with Parallels Secure Workspace?
Yes, this is generally possible and makes Parallels Secure Workspace an attractive and
cost-effective alternative. The particular strength of the application lies in RDS scenarios,
i.e. remote work via a terminal server. For some specific functionalities, such as
e.g. working with very graphics-intensive applications, Parallels Secure Workspace may
not always be suitable. We will be happy to clarify your specific use case in an initial consultation.
Is single sign-on possible with Parallels Secure Workspace?
Yes, Parallels Secure Workspace can be configured so that employees do not have to log in again on a device that has already been authenticated
. An external identity provider
is connected upstream for this purpose.
Can I install and configure Parallels Secure Workspace myself? Does the manufacturer offer a tutorial here?
Yes, you can download technical documents, such as an admin guide, free of charge from the manufacturer’s website

Yes, as long as the device has a web browser, Parallels Secure Workspace works fine without

Do I need to install software?
Parallels Secure Workspace is installed once centrally as an appliance in your network or cloud. However, no installation is necessary on
the user devices. Users access Parallels Secure Workspace directly
via an HTML5-capable web browser, for example Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge or Safari.
